Have you ever been told that depression is 'all in your head' or 'only metal gets stressed'! Things are slowly changing, and it really is Ok to talk.
Depression and mental health issues can have many causal factors which may only be identified and accepted through careful and gentle exploration with a trained counsellor.
Lone working and isolation
Suicide risk in our sector
Lone working and isolation
Working for long periods on your own, and at times, in a very harsh and difficult environment can allow negative thoughts to intensify and become all consuming.
Counselling allows you to question many patterns of thinking and empowers you to adopt new tools to become your own inner-therapist.
Business uncertainty
Do you feel like you have no one to talk to about your problems
Lone working and isolation
Flexing with the ups and downs of working in the countryside is a key skill to be able to cope with the financial and physical pressures of an uncertain industry.
Counselling can help you to build up mental resilience and techniques to be able to stand solid in the face of adversity.
Family and relationship pressures
Do you feel like you have no one to talk to about your problems
Do you feel like you have no one to talk to about your problems
Working and/or living with family and loved ones 24/7 may cause problems and issues to become magnified and exacerbated.
I can help you look at your own patterns of relating, and how you can begin to understand how best to communicate in your relationships.
(Please note I am not a couples counsellor but work with you as an individual to help you understand your relationships)

Carving out an hour each week for yourself to help explore, rationalise and accept yourself and your circumstances can be the best investment you make towards your mental health.
